Jump Start 101

We are thrilled to have you try Jump Start 101! People love this workshop-style class because they leave with a sense strength, and the experience effortless posture, and a stronger core. To make sure you have the best experience possible the class is taught by one of our senior instructors with 1-2 additional instructors to 2-3 instructors to help you get the moves right.
Jump Start 101 is perfect for beginners or those wanting a review in a fun no-pressure environment. We highly recommend this course before jumping into the Whole Body Boot Camp and Healthy Back & Joint Basics class. Take your first step, learn, tone, strengthen and sweat with us!

Already Signed Up and Ready to Jump Start? 

Here are some tips and directions.

We are thrilled you’ve signed up for Pilates 101. This edutainment style class is designed for beginners so expect a light workout in a workshop style environment with other beginners. Learn a lot, sweat a little and leave feeling taller (or stronger or with better posture)


Avoid baggy shorts other than that…there is no fashion police at Studio One so wear what you can move in comfortably. Bring layers if you tend to get chilly. sock or no socks up to you. No shoes required, also no need to bring a mat, we have everything here.

Get to the studio 10 minutes before class. You will be greeted at the door and given a personal scan card that will allow you to sign in for all future class. You can change into your workout gear at the studio and lock your stuff up, we have locks. Fill out paperwork on any injuries you might have and your goals.

Get measured around your waist, rib cage and lower ab area. sound scary? you don’t have to get measured it’s optional. But it IS fun to to see the results lose inches and have real proof you are doing it right.


Learn how to engage your core. Might sound simple but most people have never been taught how to engage the deep stabilizing muscles that make up your core.
